Breakfast was a bowl of Pompanoosuc Porridge, a glass of orange juice, and two cups of coffee.
Lunch was a bowl of Potato Leek Soup and a bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Dinner — and this was my actual birthday dinner — started with a course of wine and cheese. The wine was Bolla Sangiovese Di Romagna. We then proceeded to Baby-Back Ribs finished with our own barbecue sauce, our own applesauce, baked beans, and coleslaw, and another glass of wine. Dessert was a slice of Gretchen’s pecan pie. What a feast!
