I give you below two recipes on how to make the creme caramel.
the first one is quite fool proof and will not fail you and the second ones is more fragile and sensitive to cooking time as well as being a bit more eggy. (if this is what you prefer)

Ingredients based on a litre of milk (makes 8 ramequins) :
1 litre of milk
6 eggs
200 grams of sugar
1 fresh vanilla pod split open.
Alternate creme caramel recipe (the technique is the same as in the video):
1 litre of milk
4 full eggs
4 eggs yolks
150 grams of sugar
1 fresh vanilla pod split open.
